The intestines are the seat of health. This is especially true for the horse with its long and sensitive digestive tract. By nature the horse is a pure roughage and pasture eater.
Grain rations that are too large, mold and harmful bacteria in silage, hay or straw damage the intestines and can lead to flatulence, diarrhea, a tendency to colic and even laminitis.
Knoblizem is a successful combination of the best quality garlic, herbs such as rosemary, peppermint, coriander, and plenty of B-complex vitamins.

With Knoblizem the horse has a balanced and not too hot source of garlic available. Wheat germ and linseed provide natural vitamin E, digestive enzymes and valuable essential fatty acids. Dried vegetables enhance the overall ration with secondary plant substances.
Garlic is particularly popular with grazing horses to reduce insect infestation by changing the body's own odors. But older and weaker horses, those in the process of changing their hair and those with a tendency to eczema also benefit from the valuable ingredients of garlic.
In fact, garlic promotes the entire digestive process by stimulating appetite, gastric juice secretion and intestinal peristalsis. The pronounced cleansing effect on the intestinal tract and blood against harmful bacteria, fungi, worms, as well as waste products from digestion and metabolism is due, among other things, to the high content of selenium and sulfur. Garlic supports the heart and circulation in many ways. The fluidity of the blood improves so that the internal organs, muscles, joints, hooves and skin are better supplied with blood. The immune system and the skin condition are supported by natural vitamin C and sulfur compounds.

Feeding recommendation:
As a supplementary feeding to the usual basic feed supply with roughage and/or pasture grass, St. Hippolyt recommends approx. 15 - 25 grams per 100 kg of body weight per day. This HorseCare concentrate should be offered mixed with everyday concentrated feed. For picky horses, feed them with a small amount of food.
